This past Sunday, UCR AMSA volunteered at the Helping Hands Pantry in San Bernardino. Boxes were filled with soup, root vegetables, dry foods, and other canned goods traditionally eaten during the holiday season.
AMSA's third general meeting happened on November 6th and we had a Club Expo that introduced several smaller pre-health organizations on campus to AMSA members. The goal was to promote these other organizations and give AMSA members the opportunity to explore clubs that are more specialized than our own. The meeting was incredibly successful and 8 pre-health organizations were in attendance to foster the pre-health undergraduate community at UCR!
UCR AMSA went to San Clemente State beach to assist Orange County Coast-keepers in cleaning up the beach. We had a great time helping out the community while enjoying the beautiful weather and ocean breeze. Hopefully we left the beach a little cleaner than when we found it :)
