Aadi Dhide is a Neuroscience major who joined AMSA for a way to get more involved in opportunities related to the medical field and find people who were also interested in a career in healthcare. Her favorite aspect of AMSA is the people she's met!

Benn Anilkumar is a Biology major who joined AMSA in his freshman year to gain info about applying to medical schools, and to build a community with like-minded people. He loves how we're able to help and motivate each other on our respective pre-health journeys in AMSA.

Maddy Hing
Maddy Hing is a Biology major, and she joined AMSA to find a motivated group of peers she could rely on for mentorship, upperclassman advice, and community! Her favorite aspect of AMSA is how willing everyone is to share about their experiences and tips to succeed while balancing a busy college life!

Ethan Namsang
Ethan Namsang is a Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology major. He joined AMSA because he valued being surrounded by a community of like-minded, friendly, and motivated individuals who push him to become a better version of himself. He's also a fan of the free food and drink, which is available on occasion.

Anisha Haque
Anisha Haque is both a Neuroscience major and a Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology major.
She joined AMSA in her Junior year as a way to get more involved in the community and school. She loves the guidance and welcoming community that AMSA provides for those interested in Medicine.

Julie Yu
Julie Yu is a Microbiology major, and she joined AMSA in her freshman year to meet other pre-med students and get involved in volunteering.
She's enjoyed the social events and volunteering opportunities that AMSA provides, because they've allowed her to connect with peers and upperclassmen who share helpful advice and support.

Benjamin Tran
Benjamin Tran is a Biology major, and he joined AMSA during his freshman year, because it provided a lot of opportunities that would help on the pre-med journey. He loves how AMSA allows first-years to work with Board members and build up their leadership skills.

Fun fact: He loves doing recreational adventure sports like zip lining, kayaking, paddleboarding, and riding jet skis.

Sarah Hekmat is a Biology major who joined AMSA in her freshman year. She first learned about AMSA during tabling events on campus.
Her favorite aspect about AMSA is its strong sense of community and how we function as a supportive family. She has found AMSA to be an amazing way to build lasting friendships while growing professionally and personally.

Richard Ejim is a Psychology major who joined AMSA as a freshman. He'd heard about AMSA from fellow pre-med friends and was finally convinced to join. His favorite aspect of AMSA has been the close and tight-knit community. It really feels like a family.

Lorraine Rivera is a Biology major who joined AMSA in her freshman year after hearing about it during her orientation. She wanted to surround herself with goal-oriented people who would support her on the path towards medical school.
She loves the reassurance that comes with being in AMSA and being in a helpful community.
