Congratulations to Natalie Galvez on being our Member of the Winter 2026 Quarter. We are so proud of Natalie's growth since joining AMSA, especially in her duties as a member of the Publicity Committee. Her dedication to her duties and AMSA as a whole, has highlighted the true qualities of an AMSA member.
❄︎ Get to know more about the lovely Natalie Galvez ⬇︎
Natalie is a first year Psychology major, who joined AMSA in her first quarter at UCR. For recreation, Natalie loves to make art in several mediums, such as : ceramics, painting, jewelry making, and drawing. She also loves playing the violin, baking, reading, and watching movies.🍿
She joined AMSA in order to get involved with med school related clubs on campus and also to meet others who shared similar goals. So far, she's loved getting to see her wonderful posters being featured on our AMSA instagram account and she's also been a fan of the catering we offer at some meetings & socials (like Raising Cane's 😋).
When asked about her goals in the medical field, she stated that, in the very far future, she really wants to work in Pediatrics (specifically with toddlers). She would love to work in Humanitarian Aid like MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders) or the American Red Cross.
In her future at AMSA, Natalie looks forward to continuing practicing her digital art skills. She started out doing traditional art, so getting the opportunity to make flyers digitally in her role on the Publicity Committee has been really helpful. She also looks forward to attending more volunteering opportunities.
Congratulations once again to the creative Natalie Galvez!
We appreciate all that you bring to AMSA ❤️
