Join us in celebrating Nicole Ouk for being our Member of the Spring 2026 Quarter. It has been a privilege to witness Nicole's commitment and growth since joining AMSA, especially in her contributions to the Volunteering Committee. Thank you for your dedication and representing what AMSA is all about!

Nicole is a third year Biology and Psychology double major. She enjoys spending her free time exploring new cafes, going to the movies, cooking new meals, and shopping with friends!

As a first-generation American and college student, she joined AMSA in search of a community of people who were trying to navigate their path towards a career in medicine just like her. Although this process was overwhelming at first, she says that the resources and guidance she gained from AMSA have helped her feel more supported in her journey.

She's loved attending the guest lectures where she gained more insight on applying to medical schools and even some opportunities! She also enjoyed working in the blue tents as she was able to connect with her AMSA family as well as fellow students around campus! 

She looks forward to finding more volunteering events to help the AMSA community build more connections and branch into different fields in medicine. Through these events, AMSA members would be able to have a broader scope of experience in the medical field to help them decide on a career path!

When asked about her goals in the medical field, she stated that she looks forward to becoming a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology!
