AMSA Member of the Quarter: Anisha Haque

We are thrilled to announce Anisha Haque as AMSA at UCR’s Member of the Quarter for Fall 2024! Anisha has demonstrated exceptional dedication, completing an impressive total of 14 volunteer hours this quarter. Her commitment to the AMSA mission and her passion for helping others truly stand out.

Anisha is a third-year Neuroscience and CMBD double major with a wide range of interests and talents. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, exploring her artistic side through drawing with mixed media, watching movies and TV shows, and diving into books. Her hobbies reflect her curiosity and creative mindset, which undoubtedly contribute to her success as a student and AMSA member.

As a transfer student, Anisha joined AMSA with the goal of finding meaningful ways to connect with the Riverside community and meet like-minded individuals. She was drawn to AMSA’s mission of providing students with opportunities and resources to pursue careers in medicine. Her passion for helping others succeed is evident in her willingness to share her knowledge and experiences to inspire those striving to achieve their dream careers.

When asked about her favorite part of AMSA this quarter, Anisha shared that it was the opportunity to get to know and bond with new people who share similar interests. Participating in volunteering events allowed her to give back to the community, something she deeply values and has been committed to for years. Her enthusiasm for fostering connections and making a difference is a testament to her character and leadership.
