Third General Meeting: Podiatric Student, 11/2/22

In our third general meeting of Fall 2022, we had a podiatry student, Raffi Khechoumian, from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine speak about his experiences in the field.

He talked about DPM's scope of practice, common diagnoses, surgical treatments, pre-requirements/testing, statistics for being accepted, the application process, the 4 year curriculum, shadowing/mentorships, and much more! He also took the time to talk about the many similarities and differences between a podiatric school versus a medical school.

At the end, we did a Kahoot on his presentation where we gave out a gift card to the winner!
