On February 19, 2025, AMSA UCR hosted its Pass ‘N Paint (PEN) Social, a creative and relaxing event designed to bring together PEN mentors and mentees, as well as co-chairs and their committees. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, attendees gathered for an evening of painting, conversation, and bonding, strengthening the connections within the AMSA community.
The event provided a laid-back environment where participants could express their creativity through painting, all while engaging in meaningful discussions with their peers. For mentors and mentees, it was an opportunity to build stronger relationships beyond academic and professional guidance. Likewise, co-chairs and their committees used this time to foster teamwork and camaraderie, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in AMSA’s initiatives.
Pass ‘N Paint served as a refreshing break from the demands of school and extracurricular responsibilities, allowing members to unwind while still engaging with their AMSA peers. Events like these highlight the organization’s commitment to community, mentorship, and teamwork, ensuring that members not only grow professionally but also develop lasting connections within AMSA.
