AMSA Friendship Bracelet Night

Writer: AMSA UCRAMSA UCR

On Wednesday, February 5th, AMSA kicked off our Friendship Bracelet Making Night, bringing together members for a fun and relaxing break from school. From 6:00 to 7:00 PM, we set out beads, string, and a whole lot of creativity to craft personalized bracelets—complete with names, initials, or fun designs. It was a chill and laid-back evening where everyone got to unwind, chat, and make something unique for themselves or their friends. Some people went for simple color patterns, while others got super detailed with names and symbols. No matter the style, it was cool to see everyone’s personality come through in their designs.

Beyond just making bracelets, the event was a great way to connect with other AMSA members. Between picking out beads and tying knots, conversations flowed, new friendships formed, and it reminded us that being part of AMSA isn’t just about academics—it’s about building a community. With weekly bracelet-making sessions until March 13th, there’s plenty of time for everyone to join in!

Whether you’re looking to de-stress, get creative, or just hang out, we’d love to see you at the next one. Bring your ideas, bring your friends, and let’s keep the creativity going! See you next Wednesday! 🎨✨
