This weekend, AMSA had the incredible opportunity to take part in the INSAN Health Fair, a community-centered event focused on increasing access to healthcare resources, education, and screenings for underserved populations.

Held in collaboration with local health professionals and community organizations, the INSAN Health Fair welcomed individuals and families from all walks of life. AMSA members stepped up to support the event with health education stations, blood pressure screenings, and wellness resources.

👩‍⚕️ Our AMSA booths featured:

  • Free blood pressure checks with explanations on what the numbers mean

  • Interactive nutrition and wellness tips for everyday health

  • Preventive health education, including diabetes awareness and heart health

  • A Kids' Corner with health-themed activities and giveaways

Being part of the INSAN Health Fair was more than just volunteer work—it was a chance to serve, connect, and learn from our broader community. It reinforced our commitment to making healthcare more accessible and being future physicians who advocate for all.

🫶 Thank you to the INSAN organization, our AMSA volunteers, and all who came out to support this meaningful event. Here’s to many more opportunities to give back and grow!
