 On February 15th, 2018, AMSA held a social at the University Village Tower Theater. Members got together to watch Big Hero 6 and enjoyed popcorn and candy while bonding with one another. Also, the AMSA board members wrote Valentines Day-themed puns onto red cards that were given out to all the members. Thank you to those who showed up and we hope you had a fun time!

On February 13th, 2018 in Chung 141, AMSA held its third general meeting. During the meeting, guest speaker and AMSA alumni Stephen Cheung gave insight on what CPR Hero does and how to get a hands-on medical experience on a Cambodia trip that the program offers. The second meeting of winter quarter was held on January 31st, 2018 in Bourne’s A125. Guest speaker Dr. Nihira came and discussed his experience working in the OBGYN field and overall journey as a medical professional. The fourth general meeting was held on November 29th, 2017 in Watkins 1000. For the meeting, members were split into groups and rotated to different board members who gave advice on how to get involved on and off campus. We hope everyone got an idea of how to get their medical careers started. Thank you to everyone who participated and attended, and a big thank you for the board members’ help and experiences!
